The "Humanitarian Dimension"

International research „The ‘Humanitarian Dimension’ of Russian Foreign Policy toward Georgia, Moldova, Ukraine and the Baltic States” has been carried out.

The research is a team work of Georgian, Estonian, Latvian, Lithuanian, Ukrainian and Moldovan research centers. It has been carried out by researchers from International Centre for Geopolitical Studies (Georgia), Centre for East European Policy Studies (Latvia), Centre for Geopolitical Studies (Lithuania), School for Policy Analysis at the National University of Kyiv-Mohyla Academy (Ukraine), Foreign Policy Association of Moldova (Moldova), International Centre for Defense Studies (Estonia).

The project was aimed at increasing awareness among policy makers and key groups in target countries regarding the need for a better understanding of and more closely coordinated policy regarding the Russia’s policy toward Russian compatriots living abroad.

Presentation of the international research „The ‘Humanitarian Dimension’ of Russian Foreign Policy toward Georgia, Moldova, Ukraine and the Baltic States” will be held at 27 of November 2009, 10:00 h, at the Sheraton Metechi Palace (20 Telavi Str. Tbilisi), “Balavari” hall.

At a presentation attended by representatives of the Georgian Parliament, Government, Diplomatic Corps, International Organizations and Expert Circles.

The research was initiated and supervised by Centre for East European Policy Studies (Latvia);

Organizer of the Tbilisi prezentation – Internatonal Centre for Geopolitical Studies;

Presentation is supportied by the Open Society Georgia foundation and National Endowment for Democracy (NED)
