Krynica Zdrój, Poland, September th 2011
7-9 September 2011 XXI Economic Forum held in Krynica (Poland). The Economic Forum is one of the most significant international events in the region. It has been organized every year in the beginning of September since the early nineties. Its mission is to build a favorable climate for the development of political and economic cooperation among the countries of the European Union and their neighbours.
The leading theme of the 21th Economic Forum in Krynica was: "European Dilemma: Partnership or Rivalry?" . The discussion was attended by: Prime Minister of Poland, Donald Tusk, Prime Minister of Moldova, Vladimir Filat and President of Georgia, Micheil Saakaszwili, among others.
More than 100 panel discussions held on different political and economic issues. Chairman of International Centre for Geopolitical Studies Tengiz Pkhaladze took part on the panel: "South Caucasus – A New Geopolitical Dimension".
