Seminar for Representatives of Local Municipalities - "NATO Policies and Agenda"

On 20-21th June 2012 at the initiative of International Centre for Geopolitical Studies (ICGS)  seminar for representatives of local Municipalities "NATO Policies and Agenda" held in the NATO Liaison Office in Georgia.

The Seminar has opened by welcome remarks of William Lahue - Head of NATO Liaison Office in Georgia and Tengiz Pkhaladze – Chairman of ICGS Georgia; As a speakers at the Seminar were invited Jonas Paslauskas - Ambassador of the Republic of Lithuania in Georgia, James Mackey,

Political Affairs and Security Policy Division (NATO HQ) and Linas Linkevicius (former Minister of Defence, Permanent Representative of Lithuania to NATO), Kristina Baleisyte Deputy Head of the NATO Liaison Office in Georgia.

NATO Chicago Summit Agenda and it’s results, NATO - Georgia relations, 21th senturies new challanges, and role of local municipalities development were discussed at the Seminar. In the framework of the Seminar Video-Tele-Conference with NATO HQ in Brussels held.
