10 of May 2010 at the initiative of the International Centre for geopolitical Studies the students meeting with Dr. Antons Petrivskis lecture of Latvian State University took place at the Ivane Javakhishvili Tbilisi State University. The topic of the meeting was "Latvian Municipal Elections 2009".

Students of the faculty of lay, social politic science, business and economic faculty of Ivane Javakhishvili Tbilisi State University attended the presentation.

The specific topics of the Latvian election code, electoral landscape, the latest Municipal Elections and Riga Mayor Election were discussed at the meeting.

After the presentation Antons Petrovskis answered at the student’s questions and the discussion was held.

The meeting was convened within the framework of the project "Improvement of Students’ CiviAwareness in Terms of Elections" of international Centre for Geopolitical Studies.
