Students make up the most active and emotional electorate in Georgia. Considering the legal age limit, majority of students will have to express their civil duty for the first time in the upcoming elections.

25-27 May 2009 Under the High Patronage of the President of Romania Traian Basescu, and at the initiative of the Eastern Institute (Poland) held a 5th Europe-Russia Economic Forum in Bucharest. AT The forum made a speech Tengiz Phaladze , ICGS Chairman and George Wolski, ICGS Expert.

Between 9th and 12th September 2009 XIX Economic Forum took place in Krynica. At the forum, International Centre for Geopolitical Studies presented Tengiz Pkhaladze – chairman, ICGS; George Volski – expert, ICGS.

On 6^th of May 2009 at the Tbilisi Marriott Hotel the Civil Society meeting was held to discuss current political situation and to elect a group - Trust Group from the representatives of Civil Society organisations, independent experts, coalitions and unities. The meeting was organized by Civil Manifesto.

27 of November 2009 at the initiative of the International Centre for Geopolitical Studies presentation of the international researches „The "Humanitarian Dimension" of Russian Foreign Policy toward Georgia, Moldova, Ukraine and the Baltic States” took place at the Sheraton Metechi palace.
