25-27 May 2009 Under the High Patronage of the President of Romania Traian Basescu, and at the initiative of the Eastern Institute (Poland) held a 5th Europe-Russia Economic Forum in Bucharest. AT The forum made a speech Tengiz Phaladze , ICGS Chairman and George Wolski, ICGS Expert.

The main challenges between Russia and the EU, and global policy issues were discussed at the forum. About 80 guests from Russia and 80 from the EU: government officials, political leaders, business representatives, leading analysts, academics and journalists presented at the forum.

At the forum, International Centre for Geopolitical Studies presented Tengiz Pkhaladze – chairman of ICGS; George Volski – expert of ICGS. They made presentations at the thematic panel “EU – Caucasus – Russia: is the Partnership for Peace Possible?”
